Large Group Checklist

• Check which of the two categories below you are a part of. We have different requirements depending on how many people you are planning to have, and for what purpose!
• Make sure you book the right time and space/equipment for your work. See Studio & Booking Guidelines
• Contact the Studio Manager and the Studio Intern a week ahead of your booking time (see Onassis ONX Staff) so that the staff can be prepared for an influx of people.
• Make sure that you have come in before you expect your group to come to prepare and test whatever will be needed for your work. There is usually only one or two staff in the space during working days and it’s not guaranteed that we’ll be able to help you under time pressure.
• Please be mindful of others using the space! Avoid excessive noise and clutter.

Collaborator Groups

We generally allow you to bring as many collaborators as you want. However, we ask that you run the door if you expect to have more than two collaborators arriving. Have your guests buzz the fourth floor as usual and follow the instructions for answering the door here:

Private Events/Demos

We also allow hosting small groups of people in the studio for talks, workshops, or demos. The primary restriction is that you are not allowed to invite members of the public to the studio. This means that you can’t post ticket links on social media platforms, or otherwise advertise your event ahead of time. You can still post about any of your activities after the fact!

We ask that if you plan on hosting more than five people, please let us know in advance. For private events, we have a limit of 20 people at a time.

You will be responsible for handling the door for your event! We recommend having someone posted either by the elevator or by the door downstairs to greet your guests. See

Any events where you want to invite the public must be approved by the Managing Director. We recommend reaching out with requests for this at least a month in advance.
